Podroll

As most 21st century people, I listen to podcasts. Particularly, I listen to podcasts when I'm driving/on the train, or when I'm doing monotonous activities such as folding laundry. Here's some of my favorite ones at the moment:

  • Aunty Donna Podcast. Three improv comedians sit together weekly (they're not banking them!) and just improvise for 30 minutes. Highly enjoyable, but, hard to get into. Can be quite "out there" comedy-wise. You should also probably start at the beginning if you want to follow along the in-jokes they'll be doing constantly. Also, don't be surprised if at any point 5 episodes in a row are somewhat less enjoyable. That just means that the next one will be better. :-)
  • No Such Thing as a Fish. "QI Elves" Dan, James, Anna and Andrew each share an interesting fact each episode, and then discuss it at length. Very funny, especially if you're into niche knowledge.
  • Radio Roodborst. A Dutch-spoken podcast where two birdwatchers discuss a bird and its song every week. What's more: they bring the studio equipment to the field, and each time try their best to actually record it live. Highly enjoyable and very relaxing, but should be listened to with headphones.
